12 medium-sized slices of stale bread.
- 1 lt of milk.
- 2 eggs.
- Cinnamon.
- Sugar and oil.

DIRECTIONS:
Slice the bread about a finger
thick. Beat the eggs and take to plate. Pour milk on a separate
plate.
Pour sufficient oil for frying in frying pan. Dip each bread slice
in milk, remove excess milk and dip in egg. Fry. Repeat process
for the rest.
Place in oil-absorbent paper and sprinkle first with sugar and
then cinnamon.
Drizzle the “torrijas” with honey if desired.
